Drawing a straight line between sports and employable skills

Where Leadership Begins

Coaching For Change is a non-profit organization that teaches job readiness and executive functioning skills to teenagers.

Coaching For Change uses youth sports coaching and league management as a means of developing employable skills.

Our goal is to provide an exciting opportunity for teenagers to hone their academic and vocational skills while increasing physical activity for elementary students through running and organizing sports leagues.

Engage, Train, and Launch

Coaching For Change uses sports to engage teenagers so they can learn the skills and values that prepare them for college, productive careers, and satisfying lives.

We foster leadership and employable skills in youth by training them to organize, manage, and coach youth sports leagues and camps.

Upon completion of our program, we help launch teens into other internships and jobs.

Harness the Power of Sports

Coaching For Change harnesses the enthusiasm for sports found in today's youth.  We build on that natural engagement to provide a multitude of benefits to local communities:

Through sports, teens are mastering critical skills that will help them in the future.

Elementary students get the chance to increase their physical activity, have fun and play.

Teens and elementary students are creating meaningful relationships.

Game Changers

Coaching For Change uses coaching and project management as a hands-on method for young people--whether they have athletic experience or not. Through our cross-age mentoring model, young people demand excellence and demonstrate their learned skills.

We don't recruit talent, we develop it.

While other programs have participants, we have Game Changers.
